Funny thing is, I do remember exactly what I was doing. I have a hard time remembering the stuff I did the day after, so this was shocking for me. Seeing as I was 11 years old when it happened.
I was sitting in the car with my pappy and my brother, my pappy had just picked us up from the Boys and Girls Club. He told us what happened, this was after only the first plane had crashed. I had a hard time understanding the importance of the situation. All my 11 year old mind could think about was ''Why would someone want to crash a plane into a building for no reason?'' I couldn't couldn't grasp the political and religious meaning behind the attacks.
Later, I realized how this event was going to stick in our minds for the rest of our lives. It wasn't just some plane crash that happens everyday. I saw on television when the second plane crashed, and it seemed so surreal. Like it was happening in another world. I had a moment of silence today, I hope everyone else did too. We need to remember this, to never forget it. So many people were affected by this, not only in the United States, but here in Canada too. All over the world.

On a lighter note. I got a job today ! That's right. I work in the ''Meals'' section of the IGA grocery store. I don't think I'm going to last long there.

Here's my EVERYDAY picture of the day.
DAY 12

Thinking about everyone who was lost in September 11th.

kathleen
i was sitting in class and Mme Jacint told us.
I was at home and I bitching about the reason why this thing was everywhere on my TV. My thought process didn't go anywhere near the idea that this was something important.
